The HP Tuners MPVI3 or RTD+ OBD2 module provides the conduit with your laptop for all file exchanges and the datalogging process. It provides lasting control to the customer for future tune swaps (87 Octane, 93 Octane, Race Gas etc.) and will continue to be a valuble diagnostic tool well after tuning is complete.

Download VCM Suite Beta version and install in your laptop computer.
Step 4: Download Base Vehicle File

Using your new MPVI3 or RTD module, and the VCM Editor program, "Read" the base PCM and TCM files from the vehicle.
